GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — As part of the Goals for Cancer initiative with Hyundai Graaff-Reinet and Caltex College Motors, Union High School, this week, proudly handed over a cheque of R10 000 to the Graaff-Reinet and District Cancer Association.
As reported before, at every hockey match that Union’s first hockey team plays, they start each half of the match by playing with a pink ball for a period of f5 minutes.
For each goal that is scored during the five minutes, Hyundai and Caltex donate R100 to the Cancer Association.
This year, that amount totalled up to R10 000.
Union wishes to thank Huyndai Graaff-Reinet and Caltex College Motors for partnering with them in such an important cause.
