SOMERSET EAST NEWS - Police members from the Somerset East station dedicated 67 minutes in honour of Nelson Mandela Day (which is celebrated on 18 July), last week Friday.
According to Police Spokesperson Captain Bradley Rawlinson, Acting Station Commander Captain Janice Plaatjies and five police officials visited the Somerset East dumping site to give food parcels to 20 people.
The Graaff-Reinet Cluster Commander, Brigadier Adolph, thanked Plaatjies and all the members involved for their kind act.
