GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - In response to recent complaints regarding the colour of the water in Graaff-Reinet, the Dr Beyers Naudé Local Municipality commented as follows:
"The municipality is aware of the discoloration of water within the Graaff-Reinet area.
"As consumers might know, the dam level is currently at 11% and this has forced us to make use of borehole water to supply area.
"The discoloration is a consequence of this course of action."
