KAROO NEWS - A second alleged drug dealer was arrested in Cookhouse on Saturday, following an information-driven operation.
Capt Bradley Rawlinson, spokesperson of the Graaff-Reinet SAPS, said information led Cookhouse Crime Prevention members to the man, aged 32, sitting in a vehicle on the N10.
Upon searching the vehicle, police found 12 mandrax tablets, two half mandrax tablets and thee sachets of cocaine weighing 3.5 grams.
The drugs are estimated to be worth R1 225.
The suspect is due to appear in the Cookhouse Regional Court today (24 August). His arrest was the second drug dealing-related arrest in Cookhouse on Saturday, and the third in that week.
