GRAAFF-REINET NEWS – According to the latest statement issued by Snow Report SA, snowfalls are expected in the western parts of the Western Cape late Tuesday night, and by Wednesday morning, light snow should have fallen across all the high peaks in the Western Cape, with some light falls also possible in the Sutherland area of the Northern Cape.
“By lunch time on Wednesday, falls will have extended into the Eastern Cape, and by Wednesday evening should have spread from the Western Cape right through to the Eastern Cape Drakensberg and also into the Southern Parts of the Northern Cape,” read the statement.
Wednesday and Thursday will see maximum temperature of 9°C and 11°C for Graaff-Reinet respectively, with a minimum temperature of 2°C expected for both days. Friday will see a maximum of 13°C and Saturday 19°C.
The South African Weather Service predicts a 90% chance of rainfall for Graaff-Reinet on Wednesday and an 80% chance for Thursday.
