Camdeboo Hospice is having a good year

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Camdeboo Hospice is doing great this year, especially with fundraisers and a new board that has been elected during the annual general meeting.

Donations

According to Susan van der Linde, manager and chief executive officer of Camdeboo Hospice, an income of over R30 000 per month was achieved through small donations and sales of books, bric-a-brac, jumble and rental of medical equipment.

The donations go towards the payment of nursing and caring staff.

"Wendy Mathie is our fundraiser. Hike and Hobble from the top of Ouberg Pass to Nieu-Bethesda took place. Although the promised sponsorships have not all been paid yet, it should be in the vicinity R60 000. Hospice extends their acknowledgement to Yvonne Drummond, Sharon Shell and Eleanor Nel."
