GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Humanitarian organisation Gift of the Givers reached out to Camdeboo Hospice and spoiled 22 members of a support group with special treats.
On Wednesday 12 February, the support group, as well as nursing personnel, each received a hamburger and a five-litre bottle of water.
The support group also each received a blanket, sponsored by the Foschini group.
Hospice, a registered non-profit organisation, provides a holistic home-based palliative care service to those infected and affected by life-limiting diseases in Graaff-Reinet.
Nursing Service Manager, Sister Loretta Wieham, said their personnel are available to the entire community, regardless of gender, age, ethnic group, religion or financial status.
Gerald Buisman, the vice-chairperson of Camdeboo Hospice board of directors, thanked Corene Conradie, Gift of the Givers Graaff-Reinet based coordinator, for everything they do for the town.
