GRAAFF-REINET NEWS – This past Thursday, the Camdeboo District Trefoils Guilds hosted a farewell tea, to thank Jenny Clarke for all that she has done towards Guiding in the Camdeboo District since 2012.
Carol Rudman thanked Jenny by saying “The sheer volume of energy, knowledge, keenness - laced with honesty, integrity and fearlessness that emanated from Jenny was astounding. The Girl Guide family cannot thank her enough for her dedicated input.”
Jenny, who moved to Port Elizabeth recently, handed over the reins to Nicola Beldon who will be running Girl Guides in Graaff-Reinet from the new school term onwards. More information in this regard will soon be made available.
The Trefoil Guild is part of the Girl Guides Association.
All women over the age of 30 who were Teddies, Brownies or Guides qualify and are welcome to join this growing team.

They will be meeting in Graaff-Reinet on a regular basis and will interact with the Teddies, Brownies and Guides on exciting projects such as knitting, sewing, gardening, dancing and baking, where their years of experience and knowledge will be handed onto the younger generation in the community.
