GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — There are ladies who lunch and then there are ladies who knit.
For local knitters and crocheting enthusiasts, an opportunity to meet other knitters and to have fun sharing your favourite craft with others has just presented itself.
Avid knitter Jackie Bezuidenhout, the proprietor of the Loop Wool Boutique in Graaff-Reinet, is planning on starting a knitting and crocheting group that will meet once a week.
Bezuidenhout plans on kicking these weekly meets off on Wednesday, March 14 at 10:00.
"If you're new to knitting, it's a great way to pick up new tricks and always have someone at the ready to help you through difficult parts of patterns or explain a new-to-you technique," says Bezuidenhout.
The meetings will be held at the Loop Wool Boutique at the Karoo Trace centre in Church Street, Graaff-Reinet.
"Knitters and crocheters of all skill levels are invited to join the group," concluded Bezuidenhout.
