GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — The President’s State of the Nation Address will take place at the opening of Parliament on February 9.
The SoNA forms the backbone for government’s Programme of Action for the Year.
Given the fact that public participation is a fundamental pillar of South Africa’s democracy, the address by the President is then screened through big screens in the various venues across the Province targeting various sectors and institutions.
The Dr Beyers Naudé Local Municipality will be one of the venues for the screening of the SoNA.
The screening will take place at 6.30pm to 9pm at the Narsingstraat Primary School Dining Hall (Hostel) in Graaff-Reinet. All residents are welcome to attend.
