GRAAFF-REINET BUSINESS NEWS — The Karoo Trade shopping centre in Graaff-Reinet's Church Street turns one this December.
In celebration of this, the shops within will be hosting a grand celebration this Saturday, December 3, from 5pm 'till late.
All Graaff-Reinetters and visitors to the town alike are invited to attend and celebrate this milestone.
All stores will be open and those planning to attend are invited to meet the traders, browse their shops and then to enjoy a drink while relaxing in the cosmopolitan atmosphere in the courtyard.
After a year in business, centre manager Jason du Preez, says the future looks bright for Karoo Trade.
“We’ve had a wonderful first year of bringing the very best Graaff-Reinet had to offer to our clientele. We are confident that our stores and safe, vibrant environment will continue to bring in customers and local support."
The Meerkat Deli & Restaurant will be offering some great specials on meals during this event, so why not bring the whole family and make an evening of it!
Delicious cocktails will be available at GRT Brewery along with their newest craft beers from Cederberg Brewery and Boggom & Voertsek.
Apart from that, the shops located inside Karoo Trade - most of which have been there since inception - such as the Frans Boekkooi Sculpture Gallery, Mooi Nooi Boutique, The Nguni Gallery, Loop Wool Boutique, The Mohair Mill Shop, Hush Hush and Just Property are all eager to celebrate this occasion with Graaff-Reinet and hope to see most of their loyal clientele - as well as some new faces - at Saturday's gathering.
