NIEU-BETHESDA NEWS - The Ibis Lounge is excited to announce that Johan and Barbara Weitz are now the new owners of this exceptional award winning property in beautiful Nieu-Bethesda as of Monday, October 2

They are a powerhouse hospitality team that has worked in the hospitality industry in Eastern, Central and Southern Africa for the last 15 years.

Barbara is a qualified Cordon Bleu Chef and is eager to create inspiring and memorable dishes for her guests. She loves to take her diners on a culinary journey and believes that food is more than a meal but instead an adventure through time, tradition and the discovery of new flavors and combinations.

Johan grew up in Nieu Bethesda and is currently working as a wildlife and photographic guide, leading his clients to wilderness areas across the African Continent. He loves nothing more to enrich a guests stay with tales of the past, colourful stories of the present and sharing his knowledge of the local wildlife.

Together they look forward to further building on the incredible guest experience that Terry Winship has envisioned and created for guests of the Ibis Lounge.
