GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - In a severely drought affected market, the annual Normandy Stud ram auction saw brisk bidding for the 40 rams on offer.

Buyers remained delighted to buy high quality genetics at reasonable prices.

The entire offering was sold at an average price of R7 177. 

  • Top price: R23 500 (KP Miles and Son of Dordrecht), 
  • 2nd: R13 500 (Eenzaamheid Farming, Colesberg), 
  • 3rd and 4th: R11 750 and R10 000 (Doug and Dave Stern of Graaff-Reinet).
