GRAAFF-REINET NEWS – On Wednesday evening, August 2, the John Rupert Theatre in Parsonage Street, Graaff-Reinet, will be screening the incredible true story Hidden Figures.
The film tells the story of three brilliant African-American women at NASA - Katherine Johnson (Taraji P Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe) - who were the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn (Glen Powell) into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race and galvanized the world.
The doors to the theatre will open at 18:30 with the film starting at 19:00.
Tickets, at R25 each, will be available at the door.
