GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Many people were disappointed last Friday when the ABBA tribute concert, due to be performed at the John Rupert Theatre, was cancelled at the last minute.
This was due to circumstances totally beyond the organisers’ control, as a close member of the lead vocalist’s family died unexpectedly on the afternoon of the show. Unfortunately, there was no way to contact those who had bought tickets, other than posts on social media and a notice on the theatre door. The organisers would like to apologise to all those who were let down, especially those who had travelled to Graaff-Reinet especially for the show.
A new date has now been set, and tickets will automatically be valid for the new date. Alternately, a full refund can also be obtained from the Tourism Office if preferred.
The show will now be held on Friday 12 October at 19:30.
Tickets are still available from the Tourism Office, at a cost of R100 for adults and R60 for children 13 years and under.
