GRAAAFF-REINET NEWS - At the end of April and during the month of May, the John Rupert Theatre in Graaff-Reinet will be showing the three movies in the Bridget Jones series.
The first one, Bridget Jones Diary (2001), will be screened on this coming Saturday, April 22 at 2pm. (Tickets: R25 each.)
For those who may not be familiar with the story, it tells of the experiences of 32-year-old Bridget (played by Renée Zellweger) who decides it’s time to take control of her life and start keeping a diary.
She resolves to get her life under control, to lose 20 pounds, to stop smoking, to drink less, and to find to find a decent man. Colin Firth and Hugh Grant also star in this hilarious romantic comedy, which is sure to be a hit with the ladies!
Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004) will be screened on May 6. After finding love, Bridget Jones questions if she really has everything she’s dreamed of having.
The final movie in the series, Bridget Jones’ Baby (2016), will be shown on May 20.
