WILLOWMORE NEWS - After Tuesday’s (2 June) protests by health workers at Willowmore Provincial, the Department of Health has shared information regarding Covid-19 positive cases in the town.
There have been 16 patients to date who have tested positive for the virus, of whom 13 are hospital staff members, one is a traffic officer, and two are members of the community.
“Twelve of the patients who had tested positive have completed their quarantine time, but there are still four positive cases in isolation,” said EC Health spokesperson Siyanda Manana on Wednesday.
No deaths have been reported in the town.
