GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - According to a statement by the Dr Beyers Naudé Local Municipality (DBNLM) this morning (3 August), the municipal offices on Church Street, Graaff-Reinet, will remain partially closed until further notice.
This follows the positive Covid-19 test results of municipal employees working in the building.
“Decontamination has occurred over the weekend, and only limited staff are available,” the statement read.
Furthermore, the statement said that covid-19 tests will be conducted where staff members had direct contact with infected employees. Staff will also self-isolate, and residents are requested to only visit the office on appointment.
Other municipal offices not affected remain open.
